CEA – RTO – Grenoble (FR)

CEA-Leti, a technology research institute at CEA Tech, pioneers micro and nanotechnologies, tailoring differentiating applicative solutions that ensure competitiveness in a wide range of markets. The institute tackles critical challenges such as healthcare, energy, transport and ICTs.

Its multidisciplinary teams deliver solid expertise for applications ranging from sensors to data processing and computing solutions, leveraging world-class pre-industrialization facilities.

CEA-Leti is working towards building a silicon-based path to effective, manufacturable quantum computing. The institute is tackling this challenge by addressing all the required element of a quantum computer, thanks to its expertise in microelectronics manufacturing, circuit and system design applied to cryogenic applications.

In ArCTIC, CEA will take care of multiple tasks:

  • benchmarking superconducting materials;
  • developing a cryogenic model to reproduce the behavior of quantum dots;
  • designing low-noise amplifiers and analog-to-digital converters for cryogenic applications;
  • fabricating high-quality / low defects quantum dots and qubits;
  • evaluating multiple packaging processes for qubits applications;
  • performing statistical high-throughput characterization of circuits and quantum devices.
